MCMLXV continues to subtly evolve its deep techno language with this latest release from label head JS Zeiter. Best known for atmospheric dub-rooted constructions, Delta EP edges closer to the floor—less reverb-drenched, more precision-tooled. There's a clarity to the drums and synths here that feels deliberate: "Outline" works with a pensive pulse, hi-hats gleaming against soft sub-bass, while "Taken" moves with a low-slung swagger, animated by light, melodic flourishes.
The B-side stretches out further—"Navigate" unfurls serene pads over anchored kicks, and "Resistance" closes the set with a tougher, dub-inflected step. A functional yet immersive record, it signals an intriguing shift for both artist and label.
